We'll start today. (Although all of the experience of Italy, Germany and CZ countryside are with me from this summer, which I will try diligently to get to working in reverse order.)
Today was a day at the Karlstej Castle. A beautiful and monumental architecture from the 14th century, it sits in between mountains located roughly 30 minutes outside of Prague. The Holy Roman Emperor, King Charles the IV, had this castle constructed within just 17 years to house his holy relics and the Bohemian crown jewels. (What a piece of architecture for just this purpose!)

The two (among many) beautiful parks in Prague
Last weekend we enjoyed beautiful spring days outdoors. Stromovka is a park in Prague center and Divoka Sarka is at the outskirt. Both have stunning views. Divoka Sarka has a fascinating history (or more accurately 'herstory.' You can enjoy here: http://www.h2g2.com/approved_entry/A5140478

New work; titled "Moth"
Excited by this meter x meter oil painting on contact paper. Painting is shaped to the forms. Have to test it on glass to see how the painting will hold up and how the light will play a role. It was an amazing JOY to paint again!
